Veteran musician 2Baba sparks debate, says men aren’t wired to be sexually monogamous

Nigerian music legend Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba or 2Face, has stirred controversy online after declaring that men are naturally unable to be sexually faithful to just one partner.

Speaking on a podcast hosted by media personality Nedu Wazobia, 2Baba explained his perspective, arguing that while a man can deeply love a single woman, it is unrealistic to expect him to be sexually exclusive to her.

According to the “African Queen” crooner, this behavior isn’t about moral failure but about male biology.

“A man is not built to be sexually with one woman. His heart and love can belong to one woman, but sexually, it’s impossible,” he said in Pidgin. “It’s the biology of man. Anyone who wants to argue can do so. A man can love one woman deeply, but when it comes to sexual satisfaction, it’s hard. The seed is too much, you can’t drop it with just one woman.”
