Alex Onyia, tech entrepreneur and founder of the education technology firm Educare, has sparked a wave of reactions on social media after he highlighted the integrity of Labour Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
In his post on X (formerly Twitter), Onyia remarked, “I have never seen anyone call Peter Obi a thief. This is proof that principles matter more than money. This is one area you will never find me wanting. Through hard work, prayers, dedication and focus, you can achieve anything.”
His statement quickly gained traction, with many Nigerians commending Obi for maintaining a clean and respected public image.
One user, Jane Bond, commented, “Absolutely Peter Obi is truly an enigma, a rare kind of leader whose name commands respect, not scandal.”
