BREAKING: Ganduje Appointed Chairman of FAAN Board After Stepping Down as APC Chair

Just days after stepping down as National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has been appointed Chairman of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).

Ganduje’s appointment was made known on Wednesday during the official inauguration of the reconstituted boards of several aviation agencies by the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, in Abuja.

The former Kano governor had tendered his resignation late last month in a letter to the party leadership, citing health concerns. However, party insiders say the move was made to pave the way for discussions around the possible return of former presidential candidate Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso to the APC.
