Some rogue policemen have been caught in a video, forcefully gaining access into a private apartment in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital.
The Nigeria Police Complaint Response Unit (PCRU) has reacted to the viral video showing the officers who are attached to Operation Flush in Ado-Ekiti.
Nigerian man, Michael, who tweets as #MichaelFrosh32, had shared the video on X (formerly Twitter), alleging that the officers were attempting a daylight robbery at a residence in the Adebayo area of the city.
He called on police authorities to take action against the officers involved.Responding via its official handle, the Police Complaint Response Unit requested further information to aid its investigation.
The Police Complaint Response Unit wrote, “Dear #MichealFrosh32, kindly provide more details via DM, thank you for bringing this to the attention of the Police force. #NoToImpunity.
