On Wednesday, the Ikeja Magistrates’ Court dismissed all charges against Miss Comfort Emmason, who had been accused of disorderly conduct and assaulting crew members aboard an Ibom Air flight from Uyo to Lagos earlier in the week.
Magistrate Olanrewaju Salami struck out the five-count charge after the police prosecution team formally withdrew the case.
During the resumed hearing, Prosecutor Oluwabunmi Adeitan presented new developments that prompted the decision to drop the charges.
Adeitan submitted an application for withdrawal, which the court accepted, effectively ending the proceedings against Emmason.
