Rwanda Team Set to Arrive Uyo for World Cup Qualifier Against Super Eagles

 

The Amavubi of Rwanda are expected to arrive in Uyo on Tuesday ahead of their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying clash with the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

The players and officials will touch down at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, aboard a RwandAir flight scheduled for 1:15 p.m., before proceeding to Uyo at 4 p.m.

On arrival at the Victor Attah International Airport, the contingent will be received by officials of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and representatives of the Rwandan Embassy in Nigeria.

Head coach Adel Amrouche’s side will face the Super Eagles at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Saturday, 6 September.

Rwanda currently sit second in Group C with eight points from six matches.
