Journalist and broadcaster, Oseni Rufai, has called out Lere Olayinka, media aide to the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, demanding clarification on allegations of questionable land allocations in Abuja.
Rufai, in a post on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on Saturday, noted that since revelations emerged about land allegedly allocated by the FCT minister to members of his family, Wike’s media aide has remained silent.
He described the silence as troubling and insisted that Nigerians deserve answers.
“Since the revelation of land allocation by FCT minister to his family members, his media aide has been quiet. They haven’t reacted to the story till date. I challenge the media aide to come make clarification on this matter. We will provide a platform when necessary!” Rufai wrote.
The development has sparked fresh conversations about transparency in Abuja’s land administration under Wike. Many Nigerians on social media echoed Rufai’s concern, calling for accountability and urging the minister’s team to address the allegations openly.
