Osimhen Will Play For Chelsea – Ahmet Çakar

Ahmet Çakar, a former Turkish football referee and current pundit, has expressed strong confidence that Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen will join Chelsea ahead of next season.

Osimhen, who has spent the season on loan at Galatasaray, is expected to return to Napoli as his loan spell comes to an end. However, with the summer transfer window approaching, the 26-year-old is widely anticipated to make a permanent move away from the Serie A club.

The prolific forward has drawn serious interest from several clubs, including Premier League giants Chelsea, Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Hilal, and other top European teams.

Çakar, speaking to Habersarikirmizi, firmly backed Chelsea as Osimhen’s next destination, citing both the player's age and the appeal of the Premier League as key factors in the likely transfer.

“I’m certain Osimhen will go to Chelsea. He’s making the right move,” Çakar said. “Playing in the Premier League at the age of 26 is a significant milestone in any player’s career. And when he’s in his 30s, he can still go to Saudi Arabia for the same big-money deal.”

While no official confirmation has been made, the speculation around Osimhen’s future continues to intensify. His reported €120 million release clause and proven track record as a top-tier striker have made him one of the most sought-after players in the upcoming transfer market.
